第一行装 CLI 和菜单栏 app；第二行体检并当场配好该配的——agent hook、set-titles、重启恢复——每一步先解释、问过你再动。就这两步。之后照常在 tmux 里干活，菜单栏和通知自己会亮。想在手机或别的电脑上用，再看下面的 pair。 Line one installs the CLI and the menu-bar app; line two health-checks and sets up the rest — agent hooks, set-titles, restore-after-reboot — explaining and asking before each change. 核心能力 What it does

  • 一眼看清整支舰队 See the whole fleet at once 每个 agent 一行，按状态标色：红＝等你、青＝在干活、绿＝跑完、灰＝空闲。等你的排最上面。不在 tmux 里的原生会话也感知得到（只读）。 One row per agent, color-coded: red = waiting on you, teal = working, green = done, gray = idle. The ones that need you sort to the top. Non-tmux sessions are sensed too, read-only.
  • 一键跳到那个 pane Jump straight to the pane 看到红的，点它——那个终端窗口和 pane 直接到最前。不用在二十个窗口里翻。 Spot the red one, click it — that terminal window and pane come to the front. No digging through twenty windows.
  • 该震才震 A buzz only when it matters agent 跑完或卡住的那一刻，手机和桌面各推一条；不需要你时一声不吭。点通知直达现场。 The moment an agent finishes or blocks, your phone and desktop get one push each; otherwise silence. Tap it and you’re there.
  • 把自己的设备接进来 — pair Bring in your own devices — pair gtmux pair 印一个一次性配对码，三种用法：手机扫码、浏览器开链接、把那行 gtmux attach 粘到另一台终端。配上就是全权，走到哪管到哪，不用 VPN。 gtmux pair prints one one-time code with three uses: scan it on the phone, open it in a browser, or paste the gtmux attach line into another terminal. Paired devices get full control, anywhere, no VPN.
  • 临时给协作者看 — share Hand a session to a collaborator — share gtmux share 生成一条受限、可撤销的访客链接：默认只读，按 pane 放开「能看」「能输入」。对方只碰你允许的会话，看完一撤，链接立刻死。 gtmux share mints a scoped, revocable guest link: read-only by default, with “can view” and “can type” opened per pane. They touch only what you allow; revoke and the link dies instantly.
  • agent 多了，交给中控 Too many agents? Hand it to HQ gtmux hq 起一个常驻参谋长：维护态势板、按轻重分诊事件、能自己派活收活，只在该你拍板时来找你。 gtmux hq runs a standing chief-of-staff: it keeps a situation board, triages events by severity, dispatches and reclaims work itself, and comes to you only when the call is yours.
在手机上接管一个会话——读屏、看 diff，用 1 / 2 / 3 回它的提问。 Take over a session from your phone — read the screen, see the diff, answer its prompt with 1 / 2 / 3.

中控长什么样 What HQ looks like

中控不是转发通知的机器人，是一个常驻的参谋长 agent。它把每个会话在干什么、卡在哪写进态势板——自己的上下文被重置也不丢；事件按轻重记入账本，只在要紧时拍你；你纠正它一次（「这种小事别烦我」），它写进自己的章程，下次照做。 HQ isn’t a notification forwarder — it’s a standing chief-of-staff agent. It writes what every session is doing and where it’s stuck onto a situation board that survives its own context resets; events go into a severity-tagged ledger, and it taps you only when something matters; correct it once (“don’t ping me for routine finishes”) and it writes that into its own charter and follows it next time.

没用过 tmux？ New to tmux?

tmux 是终端复用器：一个终端里开多个持久会话，终端关了、SSH 断了，里面跑的东西都还在。这正是挂长任务 agent 的理想底座——每个 agent 一个 pane，有名字、可恢复、断线不死。gtmux 不替代 tmux，只是在它上面加了「看清」和「指挥」这一层。我们推荐的组合：Ghostty + tmux + gtmux。 tmux is a terminal multiplexer: many persistent sessions inside one terminal, and whatever runs in them survives a closed window or a dropped SSH. That makes it the natural base for long-running agents — one pane each, named, resumable, disconnect-proof. gtmux doesn’t replace tmux; it adds the seeing-and-steering layer on top. Our recommended stack: Ghostty + tmux + gtmux.

东西都留在你机器上 It all stays on your machine

算力、凭据、agent 全在你自己的 Mac 上。核心那圈「读状态、发按键」不经过任何服务器，也没有账号。只有你要从外面连进来时，流量才走一条隧道——托管的，或你自己搭的。代码全在 GitHub，MIT，可读可审可改。 Compute, credentials, agents — all on your own Mac. The core loop (read state, send keystrokes) touches no server, and there’s no account. Only when you reach in from outside does traffic cross a tunnel — hosted, or one you run yourself.
